Are documents still Markdown?
Yes. Document content remains Markdown. A local desktop workspace puts .md files in the folder you choose. The online workspace stores Markdown through its service. The browser demo stores content in this browser.
Does demo content sync?
No. The demo has no account and is not connected to an online or local workspace. Clearing browser data may remove its content. See Browser demo.
Do web and desktop files sync automatically?
Not just by signing in. A local desktop folder and an online workspace are separate modes, but desktop can explicitly configure file sync to an authorized remote workspace.
Does Tano include an agent or model?
No. Tano provides a shared Markdown workspace. A local desktop workspace can work with agent and file tools you configure yourself. See Work with an agent.
What if another tool edits the same document?
The desktop app compares the changed file with your editing baseline and tries to merge independent changes. If both sides change the same place, it preserves the content and asks you to resolve the conflict. It does not silently overwrite an external edit.
What if I do not receive a registration code?
Check your email address and spam folder. A code is valid for ten minutes, and you must wait at least one minute before requesting another. If email delivery has not been configured for the service, registration cannot finish. You can still try the editor in the browser demo.
